New songs in the pipeline
We have several new songs currently under development:
Blind - a repetitive loop provides the backbone of this innovative piece, still undergoing adaptaiton and trasnformation. Listen out for this at future gigs.
The Last Word - already heard in venues thoughout 2010, this song is complete and currently in the advanced stages of recording. A catchy number with a strong chorus, it is already a "can't stop humming it" favourite with regular lemonistas.
Mission Man - also gigged extensively last year, the song features twin guitar parts and a super-hooky chorus. Rocking! Also in advanced stages of EtL recording.
Rumble Strips - very early stages of development. That's all we can say about this one... mysterious, eh?
Clear My Mind - another "walking song", and not just becasue it's a work in progress. What we could all do is to look clearly at what is all around us, and then to decide that we want what we've got and not to try and get what we want. Or something.

The Barn refurbished
The Barn, our state-of-the-art recording and rehersal facility, in deepest - nay darkest - Essex has been fully refurbished and is now fully fit for purpose. We cried tears of joy when it was completed. No, really, we did.

New instrumentation
It was ineviatable wasn't it. Luigi has a new horn (no, no, don't titter). The tuneful sounds of a brand new Trevor James Revolution 2 alto sax - to be precise - is now beginning to seep into the EtL sound. First song to feature the king of woodwind is Who Am I? and has already made an apprearance at recent gigs. Yes, that's right we are multi-instrumental... or maybe just very mental? Current recording activity
We have recorded The Last Word and Mission Man and other recording activity is now on hold while we dedicate ourselves to new material (see above, under "New songs in the pipeline") at our Essex hideaway. We are toying with the idea of making these tracks avalaible in due course as downloads via iTunes or the Amazon website.
